The 2007 Tevitheimer grand chancellery election was the eighth sextennial grand chancellery election in Tevitheim. The election was to consist of two rounds, but a surprise first round victory on 5 February by the Republican ticket consisting of Councilor Olaf Duraksen and judge Teo Norens eliminated the need for the second round, as the Duraksen-Norens ticket was able to gain a majority of electoral votes, defeating five other major tickets. The victory by Duraksen with only 35.9% of the popular vote resulted in severe criticism of the electoral college and the enactment of rules of proportionality for the first round. Duraksen's victory represented the smallest share of the popular vote of any candidate who won their election, though Paal Zhang won a smaller share in the 2001 election and was elected via contingent election.

A total of six major tickets won a signifigant share of the popular vote, though only three won electoral votes. Duraksen took 246 electoral votes and 35.90% of the popular vote, winning much of the Tevitheimer mainland and New Trondheim. Social Union nominee Øivind Vagen won 33.84% of the vote and 123 electoral votes concentrated along the east coast of the country while Western National nominee Anton Berglund won 36 electoral votes despite only winning 2.60% of the popular vote due to his popularity in the western jarldoms. Of the candidates who took no electoral votes, Liberal Democrat Vilms Fangs won 13.17%, Progressive Aud Raimundo won 8.97%, and Greens nominee Aubrey Barrister won 3.85% of the vote.

Duraksen's successful appeal to moderates and a strong Liberal Democratic showing by Fangs resulted in Duraksen making strong inroads in many traditionally Social Union jarldoms, which gave all their electoral votes to Duraksen due to winner-take-all rules. Duraksen and Norens would both leave their office within four years of the election. Norens resigned due to a heart attack and health issues in January of 2011 and Duraksen would be removed due to a bribery scandal in July. Progressive nominee and presiding officer of the Alnating Aud Raimundo would assume the chancellery, making Raimundo's first term the second time a person became grand chancellor without being elected as either grand chancellor or vice chancellor, after Wade Mannerheim during the Third Great War. Raimundo would go on to win the 2013 election. This election is considered the third and final of the "Disasterous Three" elections that played a major role in Tevitheimer electoral reform.
