The 2014 Jamukh Earthquake (Arabic : 2014 زلزال جاموخ) was a magnitude 5.8 earthquake which occurred near the city of Jamukh, Salamat on June 23 2014 at 4 h 22 min 13 s local time. The earthquake damaged severely the city of Jamukh and the oil production complex near it. The earthquake also killed 27 persons, most of them trapped in debris during their sleep.
