Marketing

Logo and branding

The logo was designed by Kilian Sergeant, a freelance graphic designer. According to him "the lions repersent the Normans, the dragon repersents the Welsh, the fleur-de-lys repersents the French, the eagle repersents the romans, and the cross represents modern BlakeIsHere.". Branding was designed by TBA, and the font Gill Sans was chosen as the official font for the branding.

Symbols

Mascot

The mascot was designed by future Prime Minister and then-internet artist Lucas Blake Ashton-Milne, who was then 14 years old. He was inspired to create him after seeing Zabivaka, who was the mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He was revealed publicly in August 2019. Shorts featuring him were released bidaily in the lead-up to the opening match.
