A general election was a general election held on the 4th of April 2020. It saw the re-election of the Patrick Islands Party, as well as accusations that the election was rigged. On the 11th April, the Satavian Government presented the new Prime Mininster, Alexander Cane, until December 31st to re-schedule free and fair democratic elections, under international observations. By the 1st January, no such undertaking had been recieved by the Satavian Government, and consequently, on the 3rd of January, Satavian forces from Daga Roa Naval Base removed Cane from power and installed a caretaker administration.
