The 2020 Social Democratic Radical Party of Werania leadership election was a closed primary election which was held on the 27 January 2019. The election was triggered as a result of incumbent federal Chairman Viktor Oberhauser resigning as a result of the SRPO's defeat in the 2019 Weranian general election.

Three candidates applied for the role of federal chairman - former Minister of the Economy Luise Höcherl (considered to be representing the right-wing of the party) former Minister of the Environment Stefan Kiesinger and incumbent Minister-President of Ruttland Raimundas Monkevičius (both representing the left of the party).

Höcherl won a majority in the electoral college of 352 delegates out of 589. Monkevičius scored the second most amount of votes and delegates at 124 with Kiesinger the third with 113.

Electoral system

The SRPO uses a first-past-the-post delegate system. There are 589 delegate votes with each province having a set number of delegates based on their population. The delegate count is divided in the following way -
