}} The 2020 UOttawa Model Parliamentary Election will take place on November 19, 2020 to elect members of the UOttawa Model Parliament. Governor General Liam annouced that the yearly elections on October 1, 2020 to be held a month and a half later.

The campaign lasted 49 days. Starting with 6 parties, after a few mergers 4 parties competed for the Prime Ministership. This years parties are the Totally Real People United by Zoom Party lead by Keith de Silvia-Legault, the Take Two Party or Pari de la 2e Party lead by Henry Mann, The NonConfrontational Party of Most Sublime Glory lead by Simon Leonidis and the Devils Advocate Dominion co-lead by Chris Aoun and Jaac Doduck.

On election night, Keith de Silvia-Legault was able to declare victory as his party, TRPUZ, had won a pluarlity of 82 seats and will form a minority government. The official oppostion will be led by Henry Mann and his TWO party with their 72 seats, with other oppotion being made up of the Glorious Party who won 12 seats, DAD who won 12 seats as well, and 76 independnent MP's.

Background

2020 Parliament

The 2019 UOttawa Parliament was led by the FAM Party, which won a 127 seats in their election forming a minority government. The oppostion was formed by the Rat party with the Plastics and Cyborg also in oppostion. Despite initially forming government, the government bill died on the floor and the Rat party was invited to the primeiership. This new government was able to last until the second day, until its own bill was defeted and the government as replaced with Young M.U.F.F.I.N.

Selection of Speaker

In the lead up to the 2021 election being called, The Committee annouced that the former finance minister and Deputy Prime Miniter Sebastien Arsenault would be replacing Alec Conner as Speaker of the House of Commons.

Results

On election night, TRPUZ and their leader Keith de Silvia-Legault was declared the winner after winning 82 seats compared to his nearest oppostion, TWO, and their 72 seats. The election also saw both the other minor parties, DAD and GLO, win 12 seats each, thus giving them official party status. 76 independent MP's were also elected from all across Canada, making achiving a working majority much more difficult for any government.

The election night saw the TWO party take an early lead over TRPUZ as strong preformances from their party in Quebec were annouced early. As results from Ontario and Alberta were announced, the results turned in favour of TRPUZ as they won these province's seats. DAD initally showed poor results in the Atlantic, Ontario and Quebec, only winning 5 seats from this region alone, however they were able to win their 12 seats after strong reuslts in Alberta, winning 4 seats, and British Colombia where they won 2 more. The Glorious Party was able to preform well all across Canada, winning seats in most regions to achive their 12 seat caucus.
