The 2021 Northern Ontario general election was held on September 5, 2021, to elect the 13 members of the Legislative Assembly of Northern Ontario. The New Democratic Party of Northern Ontario, led by Howard Hampton, won a majority government with 8 of the 13 seats in the legislature. The Progressive Conservative Party of Northern Ontario, led by Eric Mellilo, formed the Official Opposition. The Northern Ontario Liberal Party, led by Mike Gravelle, gained 1 seat. The populist Northern Ontario Party grew significantly in the popular vote but narrowly failed to enter the legislature.

The election was held using the inherited First-Past-the-Post system, with the 13 districts keeping the same borders they had in the previous Ontario election.
