The 2022 Dayashinese Snap Election was a snap election called by Prime Minister Daichi Noru in an effort to gain a majority. The snap election came in the wake of Pan-Septentrion War 2 and !Meridian Crisis!, issues which reflected the forecasts of the Dayashinese Conservative Party. The election was considered a sweeping victory for Noru and the Conservative Party, gaining 50 seats in one of the most noteworthy increases in popularity in Dayashinese history. Meanwhile, the Liberal Party took a painstaking defeat, losing 31 seats. This was partly due to voters shifting to the Conservative Party, but also in large part due to the continued upward momentum of the Nationalist Labour Party, which gained 29 seats in the snap election. The Freedom Party and Rising Sun Party lost 31 and 14 seats respectively, finalising their consistent downswing as right-leaning Dayashinese voters largely consolidated with the Conservative Party.
