The first round of the 2022 Ordennyan People's Party leadership election will be held on 2 March 2022. A second round, if necessary, will be held on 4 March 2022, with further rounds to be held on 5 March and 6 March. It was called after Nils Hoxenhaven resigned from the Shadow Cabinet to directly challenge Mönkkönen for the leadership, after a protracted period of decline for the People's Party after a racism scandal in 2020.
