The 2024 Poneland Governmental election marks the 20th quadrennial election since the establishment of the Poneland Empire in 1944. Scheduled for May 11, 2024, this election focuses on selecting key governmental positions that, while elected democratically, require confirmation from the reigning Emperor.
Constitutional Structure
Poneland operates as a constitutional empire where the Emperor holds a significant yet largely ceremonial role. While the Emperor is not elected, other governmental positions are determined through democratic elections and subsequently confirmed by the Emperor.
Voter Eligibility
Voters must:
- Be registered on the Electoral Register.
- Be over the age of 18 during polling week.
- Be resident at an address in Poneland or a Poneland citizen living abroad with previous voter registration in Poneland.
Voting Restrictions
