The 2nd Guards Moskvingrad Motor Rifle Division, aslo known as Moskvin's Fist, Moskvingrad Division and Revolutionary Guards, is an active serving Division of the Stasnovan military, and is one of the most decorated units of the Stasnovan Revolutionary Army.
History and combat record
The unit's origins trace back to 1755, from the 2nd Infantry Brigade, that was formed during the re-organisation process of the Stasnovan Imperial Army by Kiril III of the Stepanov dynasty. The Brigade was assigned with the defence of Moskvingrad, then Kirilgrad, and thusly, it was comonly called the the "Kirilgrad Brigade". The brigade consisted of three Line Infantry Regiments and one artillery Regiment.
The Brigade was deployed to Roski during the latest stages of the Roskian Revolution (1732-1780) in support of the Roskian monarchy. It participated in the battle of TBA under the command od TBA.
In 1806, it was reorganised into the 2nd Infantry Division, and was later renamed to 2nd Rifle Division, in 1822, when all infantry units were renamed to rifle units (riflemen). It was called to action to supress protests during the 1867 Revolution. However after a vote of its officers, the Division refused to fire upon the protesters. After the formation of the Imperial Federal republic, the division was given the title "Guards" and was once again reformed as a unit of the elite Imperial Guard corp of the Stasnovan Imperial Federal Army.
In the unrests of 1918 that precedeed to the Communist November Revolution of 1919 in Stasnov, the 2nd Guards Rifle Division was deployed once again to the streets of Kirilgrad to supress the Communist porests. Similarly to the 1867 Revolution, the unit's officers voted to disobey their orders and refused to leave their barracks. This action has been considered by historians to be a reincarnation of the Division's symbolic past deeds. Some believe that the unit did not take action because of the sympathetic attitude of many of its members to the Revolutionary cause, from the Division's commander, Major General Vladimir Bukharin and his officers, all the way down to NCOs and enlisted personel, many of which came from poor, working-class backgrounds. Most of the Division's personel joined up with the Communist Party's underground armed wing, the Stasnovan Revolutionary Army, with Bukharin himself joinning as well. The 2nd Guards Rifle Division was officially disbandedas a formation of the Stasnovan Imperial Federal Army.

When the Revolution started in 1919 and the Revolutionaries stormed goverment and aristocracy buildings armed to the teeth, joined by many military units, the 2nd Guards Rifle Division, led by Nikolai Moskvin, the Revolution's leader himself was re-formed as a formation of the Stasnovan Revolutionary Army, that had now become a regural armed force. The Revolutionary Air Force and Revolutionary navy were also being formed from defecting Imperial units. Now known as "Moskvin's Fist" of ”Moskvin's Own", the 2nd Guards Rifle actively took part in the Stasnovan Civil War that followed, from the Battle of Moskvingrad to the Siege and Fall of Vastava, all the way to the liberation of Gumrak. After the end of the war, and the renaming of Kirilgrad to Moskvingrad, the

During the Stasno-Roskian border conflict of 1987, the 2nd Guards Moskvingrad Motor Rifle was one of the first units to make contact with the Roskian 1st Armoured Division, leading the Roskian invasion. Immedeately, firce battles erupted...
During the First Rekovian War, the Moskvingrad Division was deployed all the way from the Eastern Military District where it is assigned, to the Western Military District, to take part in the Stasnovan invasion of the Holy State of Rekovia. The Divsision's ranks compromised of many veterans of the Stasno-Roskian border war, and their combat experience was considered critical by the Stavka. Indeed, the veterans of the 2nd Guards Motor Rifle proved their worth in the first hours of the invasion. The 2nd was one of the Stasnovan units fighting over the capital of Grazdnovo, where one of the bloodiest battles of the war took place. In the Battle of Kvartira, the greatest tank battle of the war, the Moskvingrad Division's 2nd Guards Tank Regiment faced off against the Kvartira Brigade (formerly known as the 74th Seperate Tank Regiment, a reservist armoured formation). The result of the battle was a deicicive Stasnovan victory, due to more experience and advanced weaponry, as well as aerial support.
In August 11th, the Division was deployed to the Mercandan Socialist Republic -now Mercandan Democratic Republic- to help the local authorities against rebel forces that had captured a significact portion of the country, under the Vastava Pact treaty. While a Stasnovan air campaign was launched against the rebels with considerable success, the ground offensive, which the 2nd Guards Motor Rifle was to spearhead, never materialised, as peace talks bagan and the armed conflict ended as the country transisioned to a more democratic government under Vastava Pact supervision.
