6th Airborne Brigade is a brigade of the Imperial Army of Vionna-Frankenlisch. It is currently stationed at Teutonberg Fortress. The brigade currently comes under the command of Brigadier General Sir Howland Smith, and consists of 3,350 troops. Unlike the other brigades of the Imperial Airborne Corps, 6th Airborne is fully capable of deploying both from aircraft and from helicopters - other brigades of the Corps are specialised one way or the other.

History

Current Structure

As of September 2022, 6th Airborne Brigade consists of four full-strength battalions and 6 supporting units. This makes for a total of 3,350 troops. A detailed breakdown is below.

  • 5th (Independent) Squadron, Imperial Pathfinders - 200 troops (full strength squadron)
  • 98th Light (Airborne) Regiment, Royal Artillery - 180 troops, (brigade artillery)
  • 6th Brigade Support Group - 200 troops (brigade supply train, operated by the Imperial Corps of Logistics)
  • 6th Brigade Signals Group - 80 troops (brigade signals)
  • No.19 Detachment, Imperial Army Medical Corps - 30 troops (brigade medical staff)
