The AMX-45DCA is a tracked, self-propelled anti-aircraft gun used by the Sieuxerrian Army. It was designed to replace the older AMX-13DCA SPAAG system.

Variants

Produced

  • AMX-13DCA Mk. IV
Last model of the AMX-13DCA with an advanced turret. Was not accepted into service but instead was used as a test-bed technologies for the AMX-45DCA.
  • AMX-45DCA Mk. I
First production model. Less than 100 were fielded before production was halted.
  • AMX-45DCA Mk. II
Major upgrade. Introduced a new style turret with two radars; an S-band search radar and a Ku-band tracking radar. Newer engine and electronics as well.
  • AMX-45DCA Mk. III
Digitization of the vehicle. Radars replaced with X-band operating systems. Mk. II vehicles upgraded to this standard as well as new models produced. Also fitted with 2 x 2 Mistral short-range surface-to-air missiles.
  • AMX-45DCA Mk. III AHEAD
Mk. III model with AHEAD compatibility. All Mk. IIIs later upgraded to this standard.
  • AMX-45DCA Mk. IV
New Thales TRS 2620 radar model. Replacing older Mk. III AHEAD.
