Aaron Warner was the 66th president of the United States from 2003 to 2008 and was the first president under the global economic depression, which is approximated to have began a year into his term in 2004. Warner would be the second to last Conservative president in the 2000's, and as of 2028, they have still not held the presidency once since Metrillis III. The reason for this is his major unpopularity with how he was handling the economic depression, which according to journalists and economic moguls at the time, he wasn't. Additionally, his attempts to expand federal overreach whilst decreasing federal assistance to people and businesses in favor of "states rights" made him, and the party, very unpopular. President Metrillis III, along with Warner, are known collectively as the presidents that "destroyed the Conservative Party."

Warner had been President of the Conservative Party since the 1988 election, and has previously been majority leader of the House of Representatives, and following that a member of the Senate. His last position prior to becoming president was as the Attorney General of Wales, which he served in during the 2003 election, resigning upon his inauguration.
