The Alderia Manora is a 7-seat MPV produced by the Tarsan automaker Alderia and designed to compete with the XX, the XX and the XX. The Manora is currently in its first generation and is built at the Delphius Light Vehicle Manufacturing Complex. It shares the same platform with the Alderia Parvae.
Design
The Manora was designed in 2008 as a large Multi-purpose vehicle primarily for hauling families. The vehicle has many other uses and comes in cargo body, however. It is considered a well proportioned vehicle for its class and contains significantly more options than the smaller Mevera. It utilizes the same platform as the Parvae (the Alderia Group Type 5 Platform). The vehicle rated well in the Tarsan vehicle safety rating test program. The base trim S level comes standard with amenities such as heated seats, cruise control, power windows, and a six inch screen version of the Alderia Global Connect Infotainment System. It includes a 2.5L turbocharged V4 engine producing 170 horsepower and is front wheel drive. The S starts at 25,000 harkans. The next level SE trim utilizes a five cylinder 2.7L engine rated at 190 horsepower. It includes additional amenities such as a powered liftgate, powered sliding doors, a power rear door window, larger 18 inch alloy wheels, and the addition of fog lamps in the bumper. This trim comes in at 31,000 harkans. The SES trim is powered by a 210 horsepower 3.0L V6 engine and offers a powered liftgate, powered sliding doors, a larger 8 inch infotainment screen, lane keep assist, and a backup camera. It comes in at 35,000 harkans. The SEL premium trim is the top tier trim and comes equipped with a full loadout of features. It is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine and produces 310 horsepower. The vehicle comes equipped with a full list of premium features including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, heated and cooled seats, a 8 inch infotainment system, a premium JRL sound system, a digital instrument cluster instead of an analogue one that ties into the infotainment system, a 360 degree camera system, a radar guided impact warning system, electronically retractable sunshades for the rear windows, and much more. The SEL premium trim costs 45,000 harkans and is the most expensive trim available.
