Winning song"Jennie, Jennie" by Adam Marvels

AleziRadio Festival of Songs 1975 is the eighteenth edition of the annual AleziRadio Festival of Songs. The competition was held in Ma'azmaddin Metropolitan Theatre located in Metropolitan Zafizamarrah, Zafizamarrah. The city itself holds the title as the capital of Zafizamarrah and the capital of North Alezia as a whole. This is the eighth time that Zafizamarrah hosted the competition after doing so in 1958, 1963, 1966, 1967, 1969, 1972, and 1973. As the city of Metropolitan Zafizamarrah itself, it's the seventh time that the city hosted the competition, holding the title as the city that hosted the competition the most times.

The competition was won by Adam Marvels representing Bristol with his song "Jennie, Jennie". This is the second time that Bristol won the competition after his fellow competitor in 1960, Nathaniel Swayne won the competition in 1959. This brings Bristol together with Zafizamarrah and Pyalivostok as the only regions who had won more than once.

Ma'azmaddin Metropolitan Theatre is a newly completed building at the time of the competition, able to sit 5,000 people, making it the largest venue in Zafizamarrah Metropolitan City at the time until Nasymaruddin Tri-Theatre was completed in 1987. From this point on, tickets to the live show has started being sold to the public. However, tickets were only sold in the region of Zafizamarrah, and competition for a seat is very tight. At that time, tickets cost AZ$ 590, which for inflation might cost AZ$ 1000. This is 4 times larger than the Alezian average wage at the time. However, even with that, the venue was reportedly full for the Festival.

The competition saw a major design overhaul with Radio Zafizamarrah releasing a new logo for the festival, also saying that other radios are "allowed to use it should they host ARFOS next year or in any year." The logo was designed by Alezian Modernist Artist, Mr. Jazma Dawarandaran. In an interview in AleziRadio Programme One, he stated that the waves represented musical sounds and radio frequencies, the nine waves represents the nine regions participating in the festival, and the large blue circle represents the blue earth and how Alezian music should develop like how the world develops nowadays.

Proposals for a television broadcast continued in this year, however, just like last year, AleziRadio still don't have the adequate technology to make a television broadcast available to the public. And thus, the proposal was rejected, bringing small outrage from the public saying that they "deserve to enjoy the visual aspects of the competition without imagining it, or looking at the newspaper releases, or writing and making our own scoreboards."

The competition was generally praised for its creative and fresh design especially after the last time Zafizamarrah hosted the competition which in graphic designers opinion is a "recipe consisting of graphical nightmares and boredom and simple and plain design".

Kazan Dabaroshvili from Mosin-Nagan returned to the competition after earning second place last year. Both of the Bristolian entrants from the 1960 festival who were Nathaniel Swayne and Adam Marvels returned representing the same region.

Impact

The impact of the second victory for Bristol caught Bristolians in the region off guard, celebrating the victory and it was found that alcoholic beverages sales in the region increased by 30% as the results concluded. Adam Marvels and Nathaniel Swayne (who earned bottom nine but did won previously) was deemed as regional heroes for winning the competition and finally returning the competition to Bristol after being deemed as the worst performing region in the Festival over the past years.
