Queen Amelia Rhosyn Calhaearon I Of Wosrac, commonly reffered to as Queen Amelia I, is the current Wosracan monarch. Born on the 18th of April, 1984, she assumed the throne after her fathers death on the 22nd of May, 2003. She was officially coronated on the 29th.

Early Life

Born as the daughter to the then king, Lloyd Bell Calhaearon, Amelia grew up surrounded by the aspects of royal life. Despite this, little was known of Amelia before her late teenage years and coronation. She was dubbed by the media 'The Most Shy Royal In History'. She rarely attended royal events with her parents but would often disguise herself and relax in her hometown of Resby with her aunt, just outside of Mulford City.

Teenage Years

Many Wosracans were beginning to worry if Amelia would be a suitable heir due to her reserved attitude towards the public. Her father worked hard to change the public's perception of Amelia and by the age of 14 she was attending royal events and even delivering a speech at the Royal Mulfordian Arts & Music Event. She still, however spent an unusual amount of time out of Mulford and in Resby. There was a lot of speculation within the Royal Family and the general public, with many believing her to be in dispute with family members.

In 2001, the paper 'The Chronicle' revealed that she was having an courtship with a commoner, Andy Jonas. In the same year, as soon as she turned 16, she matrilineally married Andy Jonas, who then became Prince Jonas Calhaearon. On May 12th 2002, aged 17, Princess Amelia announced her pregnancy. She was expecting a baby boy and on January the 16th, 2003, Prince Arthur was born, the first addition to the Royal family in the 21st century.

Coronation

By October, the King Lloyd announced that he was retiring from public events citing his deteriorating health. His doctor later revealed that in January Lloyd was in a state of stress and mostly home-bound to lie in his bed. On February the 19th 2003, King Lloyd II suffered a stroke and was hospitalised. Just a month later, on March the 22nd, Lloyd suffered from a heart attack and was pronounced dead. Aged 18, Amelia was officially crowned on the 29th.
