Angelette Blier-Labonté was an actress living in Lausanne and served as the youngest of the ladies-in-waiting for the Empress of the Dutch, Anna Charlotte from 2070 to 2071 before resigning to start a cinematic career. She has starred in several movies including the 'The Man' Franchise, and The Secret Empress: Part I. She was found dead in a Timerian hotel suite in 2080, in an incident that was originally ruled a suicide but has now sparked a murder investigation.

Early life

The daughter of businessman Heinrich Labonté and Lady Clémence van Blier, Angelette was born in Aachen. The family moved to Zürich when she was two, on account of her father's business, but moved back to Aachen when she was 16. It is known that she became a lady-in-waiting for the Duchess of Aucgate before the age of eighteen.

Adult life

Angelette became a lady-in-waiting for Empress Anna Charlotte of the Dutch in 2070. It is rumoured she is an avid flier, skier and horseback rider. Additionally, she is known to be a big spender and to dress in very flattering dresses and outfits. In some social circles, she has been called a 'perfect sagittarius' on account of her personality traits. She is considered by many to be the most beautiful of all Anna Charlotte's ladies.

Angelette attained exemption from compulsory Swiss military service by virtue of being a Dutch citizen.

Angelette starred alongside Elizabeth Percy and Kobus Bosmann in the 2071 film The Man. The film was critically acclaimed and was very popular in Connuriste and the United States of Conner. This was her debut film in which she played the movie's main protagonist, a barista turned ballerina named Marissa who is the object of obsession by Bosmann's character, the Man. The film was called phenomenal and intriguing, and Angelette's performance was described as very impressive.

Later the same year Angelette starred in the movie The Secret Empress: Part I once again alongside friend and actress Elizabeth Percy. Angelette played the leading role of Évelyne Valen. It was considered on of the best films of the spring and the third in high grossing movies in 2071 which as one critic call it, the third installment of the beginning of a golden age of cinema. With the two movies, Angelette quickly became the third highest paid actress in the world that year behind Elizabeth Percy and Penelope Chambers. Following the success of her movies, Angelette resigned from his position as lady-in-waiting to the Empress of the Dutch and moved to Lausanne.

There were rumors that Angelette and Percy, having been in two movies were they have intercourse together we're having a lesbian affair, although there has been no solid proof of this. Elizabeth Percy was married to actor Christopher "Kit" Neptune. Angelette has refused to comment on such rumors. Angelette played a secondary villain in the movie, 'Van Essa: The Stark War' and she reprised her role as Marissa Kots in the movie 'The Man: No String on Me' where she once again plays the villain.

Death

Angelette was found dead in a hotel room in Forever, North Timeria in October 2080. The actress was found in a ball gown on her bed, in a pool of blood with a knife in her hand. Her wrists and throat had been slit. This was originally ruled as a suicide, although there were many that found some of the circumstances around her death suspicious - namely motive for suicide and the fact that not only had her wrists been slit, but her throat too.

These questions surrounding Angelette's death were ignored for almost a year, until the film 'Ik, Jette' was released in the summer of 2081. The film starred Elizabeth Percy, Angelette's former colleague, and it was initially a great success, one of the most successful films of the decade. The film tells the story of two women involved in a love affair, and eventually results in Percy's character murdering the other female lead. There had been unsubstantiated rumours earlier in the past that had circulated about a relationship between Percy and Blier-Labonté, and in a move that no-one had expected, Elizabeth Percy was arrested on June 25 2081 on suspicion of Angelette's murder. An investigation began into Angelette's death. A few days later, tragedy struck Elizabeth Percy. After her bail had been paid on June 30, Elizabeth was removed from her own company and was involved in a terrible car crash where several, including Percy's husband, Grand Duke Karl were killed. Elizabeth Percy's vehicle had been rammed by a truck, allegedly driven by a man obsessed with the late Angelette.
