An Apostolic Presbyter is a member of the Council of Presbyterianism and are considered to be some of the most well versed senior members of the Imperial Faith. Apostolic Presbyters are the leaders of Vidék Basilicas, which are the center of religious authority of a Imperial Vidék. Apostolic Presbyters are recommended by the Court of Omens but this is non-binding. All Apostolic Presbyters are appointed by the Dózse to join the Council.

An Apostolic Presbyter is responsible for a variety of tasks that are exclusive to the office, but are also considered to be the Vicariate Pastor of the Basilica that they are assigned to. An Apostolic Presbyter, as a member of the Council of Presbyterianism, is primarily tasked with the interpretation of the Imperial Faith to advise the Dozse. Alongside this, Apostolic Presbyters are in charge of ensuring that the doctrine taught within the region and the governance of churches within their Vidék is representative of correct doctrine.
