The Ardent class is a class of Scutum combat system-equipped multi-purpose frigates in service with the Republic Navy. The vessels were built by Roman shipbuilder Kuat Shipyards.

The ships are fitted with the Scutum weapons system allowing them to track hundreds of airborne targets simultaneously as part of its integrated air defense network. The Ardent-class multi-role frigates are the only frigate in service with the Roman Republic Navy's Foreign Interest Defense Command
