The Armed Forces of the Federal Republic States of New Wolvers, commonly referred to as the Armed Forces or Liberty Wolves, is a comprehensive military organization comprising various branches responsible for the defense and security of the nation. The Armed Forces encompass the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force, forming the backbone of the nation's defense capabilities. In addition to these branches, a specialized force known as the Federal Carbineer Troopers, or FCT serves as the Federation's Military Police and participates in combat missions overseas. Although not formally part of the Armed Forces, the Customs Police holds military status and operates in a manner similar to the Federal Carbineer Troopers.
As the head of the Armed Forces, the President of the Federal Republic States assumes overall authority; however, their powers are constrained by constitutional amendments implemented by the Constitutional Council, which dictate the circumstances and limitations under which the president can employ the military. The Charter of the Armed Forces, enacted in 1950 under Resolution 67, clearly stipulates that only the parliament possesses the authority to declare a state of war. In the event of an attack by non-allied states, New Wolvers is automatically considered to be in a state of war until the ambassadors of both New Wolvers and the non-allied state negotiate a resolution.
The Army, as a vital component of the Armed Forces, is responsible for ground operations and land-based defense. It maintains a diverse range of units, including infantry, armored divisions, artillery, and specialized forces for reconnaissance and combat engineering.
The Navy of New Wolvers ensures the maritime security and projection of power for the nation. Comprising a formidable fleet of vessels, it conducts naval operations, safeguarding territorial waters, protecting maritime interests, and projecting force when necessary. The Navy also maintains amphibious forces capable of launching operations from the sea.
The Air Force plays a pivotal role in the defense of New Wolvers' airspace and the projection of air power. It operates advanced fighter aircraft, bombers, transport planes, and reconnaissance aircraft. The Air Force also encompasses specialized units dedicated to air defense, aerial reconnaissance, and strategic operations.
The Federal Carbineer Troopers serve as the military police force of the Federal Republic States, ensuring discipline, order, and law enforcement within the Armed Forces. Additionally, they engage in combat missions abroad, functioning as a highly trained and versatile combat force in diverse operational environments.
Although the Customs Police does not fall within the formal branches of the Armed Forces, it holds military status and operates in a manner akin to the Neo Wolverian Army. This specialized force plays a crucial role in securing national borders, combating illicit activities, and maintaining law and order in customs-related matters.
The Armed Forces of the Federal Republic States of New Wolvers operates under a structured command hierarchy, ensuring efficient coordination and operational readiness. With a commitment to defending the nation's sovereignty and safeguarding its interests, the Armed Forces play a pivotal role in maintaining peace and security within New Wolvers and contributing to regional stability.
