Army Group Alpha was an Army group of the Syaran Commonality Armed Forces during the Zemplen War. Army Group Alpha was responsible for operations in northern Ruvelka, primarily in the Kunhegyes District. Army Group Alpha was formed in August 2008 during the August Offensive and thereafter took part in Operation Aspis. The Army Group's advance was halted at the Battle of Sarud,and subsequently parried Ruvelkan efforts during the Ruvelkan Winter Counter-Offensive. In May 2009 the formation took part in Syara's last major strategic offensive during Operation Harpe. It was forced to abandon it's position and retreat during Operation Homefront, and was officially stood down shortly after the conclusion of the war.
