The Army of the Irreverent (AI) is a transnational militant Atheist terrorist network fighting to destroy organized religion globally. The Army has launched attacks on military and civilian targets in various countries, including Greater Niagara, The Furbish Islands, and Gagium. It has been designated as a terrorist organization by most nations. Its leadership is based in Pätschlàn, but it maintains autonomous affiliates in several countries.

The network was formed in Pätschlàn in 2009 by Mikael Bjelland, Jacob Strande, and Bako Layda. The group claimed that organized religion was conspiring to establish totalitarian dictatorships across the world. It vowed to wage war "by any means necessary" to prevent this. The Army advocates for terrorism and encourages Atheists to engage in attacks on the religious and religious institutions.

Organization

The Command Council of the Army of the Irreverent does not directly control the day-to-day operations of its affiliates, but is responsible for the major decisions regarding the group. AI's leadership maintains contact with its various affiliates and is responsible for providing the groups with funding, equipment, and ideological guidance. Most of AI's top commanders reside in Pätschlàn, which has been accused of allowing the terrorist group to operate with impunity.
