Asaad al-Shaad ( (1967-07-05) July 5, 1967 (age 56)) is a Terehanian politician, lawyer, bureaucrat, and former intelligence officer who was the President of Terehan from June 2018 until his ouster in November 2022 during the WEDA-led invasion of Terehan. He had previously served as both the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Director of TNIS, and was a columnist for several news outlets. As President, he pursued a nuclear weapons development program which was widely condemned by the international community. His presidency was also marked by many humanitarian crimes, including state-sponsored massacres against civilians, and his endorsement of terrorist networks like Al-Fijar contributed to the eventual international coalition which ousted him. After his capture and trial he was sentenced to a life imprisonment.
