BF-08

The BF-08 (Bei Feng-08, "North Wind-08") is an older model of SRBM used by Songguo's Strategic Missile Troops and its regular forces. Developed from the JC-1 SLBM, it was one of the first Songhua ballistic missiles to enter service and is still in use today. It succeeded the BF-07, the country's first ballistic missile, another SRBM model. Most BF-08s are held in reserve and few carry nuclear warheads any more, but many such missiles have been sold to other nations in the Sermaye Treaty Organisation.
