Baccara, officially the Kingdom of Baccara (Baccaran: Wʌxʀȷxɛ 3ʌkʌʀʌ) is a coastal nation on the island of Promeridona, bordered by Liberto-Ancapistan to the west. It is divided into five provinces, covers an area of 1,083,804.48 square kilometres, with a population of 174.84 million. Vashval is the nation's capital. Its largest city, however, is St. Ross. Other major cities include Alba, Monte Barbra, Kashra, Rokhes, and Valanda.

The history of the Baccaran people spans thousands of years. Throughout antiquity, the Baccaran population consisted of several pagan tribes. However, it was Dante Pezchifr who conquered the land in 895 AD, crowning himself the first king of the Kingdom of Baccara, and thus founding the first historical nation for the Baccaran people and uniting them under a single flag. Baccara has been a Catholic nation since its birth, and the most recent census shows that 61% of the Baccaran population identify as Catholic.

With the passing of Queen Bellianca in 1682, the nation entered a war of succession, eventually splitting into three different kingdoms by February 1683 and starting the first civil war in the nation's history, between the Kingdom of Baccara, the newly established Kingdom of Ghola-Visgrov, and the newly established Kingdom of Greater Zeph. The kingdoms of Baccara and Ghola-Visgrov would later be conquered and united by then king of Greater Zeph, Vice Pezepha, and transformed into a Marxist dictatorship in early fall of 1894. From 1894 to 1954, the nation was known as the White Republic.

On April 4th 1954, the Pezephan regime came to an end, as it was toppled by multiple groups of armed revolutionaries, the most prominent being the Iron Crow, led by Ferez Crowler, who later became the first President of the newly formed Kingdom of Baccara, which became a constitutional monarchy on April 10th 1954, as per the wish of Queen Levita.

Today, Baccara is praised for its free market economy, high standards of living, safety, as well as its energy independence and strong military. The people of Baccara love and respect their history and culture, which had always been based on freedom and faith. It is also a popular tourist destination, drawing 50 million international tourists per year.
