Baden, officially the Province of Baden, is a province of Germany located in the southwestern part of the country. It is bordered by Alsace to the west, Saarland-Palatinate to the northwest, Hesse to the north, Franconia to the northeast, Württemberg-Hohenzollern to the east, and Switzerland to the south. Thomas Strobl, a member of the DVP, is the province's current governor.
