Batak nationalism
We, the Batak people, are heirs to a proud heritage and unique traditions that must be preserved and celebrated. Batak nationalism is the cornerstone of our identity, fostering pride in our culture, language, and history. We commit to promoting Batak cultural practices, language, and traditions in education and public life. We support initiatives that protect our cultural heritage from erosion due to modernization and globalization. We aim to unite all Batak communities in shared pride and purpose, regardless of borders or distances.
Autonomism
The Batak National Union believes in the principle of self-determination within a cooperative national framework. Autonomy is essential for addressing the unique needs and aspirations of the Batak people. We strive for greater political and economic autonomy for Batak regions, allowing local governance to make decisions that reflect the people's priorities. Batak regionalism
