The Battle of Al-Kesster was the first battle of the Prodavan Sovereignty Crisis. The Ceasian Fourth Legion under Legate Gaius Papilius met the Prodavan First Division at the small town of Al-Kesster. Ceasian forces pushed across the vital River Halkar, seizing two intact bridges to allow seventeen other legions to cross the river as part of Operation Divine Right.
