The Battle of Bhangare (11 October - 21 October 1821) was an engagement between Field Marshal Georg Ludwig Koppel Galbadian Army and the combined Aurucolian and Sikh forces under the command of General Radoje Perunović.

Perunović continued to follow orders to pursue the Galbadians and prevent them from reinforcing the Lucian Forces at Bengaluru. Unknown to Perunović, Koppel only dedicated the Galbadian Rear Guard under General Levi Erlach in order to give him time to regroup his men and to reinforce Humeray at Bengaluru. Under the knowledge that he was still pursuing Koppel, he continued his assault on the Galbadian forces near the town of Bhangare, where Erlach stood his forces long enough for Koppel to regroup his army and march to Bengaluru on 20 October. Perunović only realised it too late but sent 1/3rds of his forces to attempt to pursue Koppel again but it was however, prevented by General Lars Dahlke's Galbadian X Corps at the small town of Harasona.

Bhangare was a defeat for the Galbadians. However, Erlach's successful delaying action ensured that Koppel was able to reinforce Humeray at Bengaluru on 23 October and engaging with the Aurucolian and Sikh Rear Guard at Rankati. Perunović, despite securing victory, realised that it was too late to stop Koppel and was forced to retreat to Amwarati instead of attempting to reinforce Kisbátor at Bengaluru due to the winded state of his army bought by the Galbadian engagements.
