The Battle of Innstein was the second battle of the Imperial Civil War and part of the Saxondale Campaign. The battle was a victory for the Leftists of Davey Muircanon's Ballaeter Group. The Imperials lost the battle as they were disorganised following the death of their former commander, Lord Yates. The Leftists took the town along with Fort Innstein, the headquarters and base of the Saxondale Division.
