Concordian Civil War

Bertalan Rajmund Mészáros (Magyari: Mészáros Bertalan Rajmund; 13 January 1800 – 12 April 1880), known by his Anglicized name Bertalan Raymond Mesarus, was a Aurucolian-Concordian general that served in the Sandoric Wars and the Concordian Civil War. He was nicknamed Old Bertie by his men due to him being a veteran of the former aforementioned wars.

Mészáros served in the Sandoric Wars, graduating as 1st Lieutenant, then being promoted to the rank of Captain by the time of the Battle of Nazagadan, fighting wth distinction that lead to his promotion of colonel after the Six Days Campaign. After the Battle of Nederborg, Mészáros's life became plagued with misfortunes, incentivizing him to leave for Concordia for a new life. He then enlished in the Army and fought in the Concordian Civil War. He fought in the Western Theater, fighting in battles such as Shiloh, Chickamauga and Dyer's Ford, Missionary Ridge, Battle of Spotsylvania, where he became famous for his innovative attack on 10 May, Franklin and the 1865 Encirclement Campaign. At the end of the war, he was ranked a Major General.
