Season chronology

This is the fourth season of the Durnian reality television series Big Brother Durnstaal. The show premiered June 20th, 2012 on the DRS television network, airing three times a week.

The major twist this season was the Nest of Temptation (to go along with the treehouse aesthetic), which gave housemates secret tasks to gain rewards for themselves or other housemates. Failure to complete tasks causes them to lose their right to vote.

• Note: On Day 4, after refusing to nominate anybody and telling everybody that he is putting a plague on the house, Wilmer Hopp, who was automatically nominated for his refusal to nominate, was pulled from the game by production when he struck Niklas Sternhell.
• Note: On Day 13, after days of increasing aggression, August Klaproth started throwing furniture around and threatening his rivals, Michael Ehrenfeld and Ottilia Rozenkwit. He was removed from the game shortly after. His showmance, Marianne Tillich, debated walking from the game to be with him but chose to stay, ultimately being evicted the next day.
• Note: On Day 40, Marga Orndorff threw an enormous fit and decided to walk from the game, feeling like there was no point in continuing.
• Note: On Day 42, after Tanja's eviction, Albin Sendler revealed to the housemates that the Nest of Temptation was no more.
• Note: On Day 51, Annika and Niklas won a letter from a loved one.
• Note: On Day 58, Mira won a challenge and had to open up one of three boxes. The box that she opened held the Finals Pass, giving her immunity up until the finals.
