Big Brother 16 is the sixteenth season of the Vitosian reality television series Big Brother. The show premiered June 25th, 2019 on the Noble television network, airing three times a week.

This season's twist brought back four of the best players to never win as coaches where they each have a team of three players they need to help get to the end. Should all of a coach's players be evicted, that coach must also leave. However, should a coach's player reach the end, they will also get money. The coaches include Alicia Caligaro, Felicia Parriden, Marcilo Rega and Sylas Toza.


Twists

  • All Stars Return: Six of the best to never win return. However, two will be eliminated before the others become coaches.
  • Coaches Twist: The "coaches" have a team of 3-4 players. Should a coach lose all of their players, the coach must leave as well.

Saffiro is a 33 year old multimedia artist.


The first four to enter are Callen, Jaxen, Manuela and Nicole. They all rush to claim beds and introduce themselves to each-other. Manuela talks about having a break-up a few months before coming on so she is ready to relax. The next group to enter is Jamie, Veronika, Nadia and Richie. The last group to enter is Letizia, Maio, Rebekah and Saffiro.

The host, Sofia Venoa, appears on screen in the living room and tells them that there will be a total of eighteen people in the house as the last six are all veterans. Everybody is shocked!
The first to enter is Sylas Toza from Seasons 2 and 7: All Stars.
The second to enter is Calista Brunov from Season 6.
The third to enter is Marcilo Rega from Season 5.
The fourth to enter is Alicia Calagaro from Seasons 5 and 7: All Stars.
The fifth to enter is Nelo Szilveszter from Season 8. (last season)
The sixth and last to enter is Felicia Parriden from Seasons 1 and Celebrity 1.
Sofia Venoa welcomes the veterans and says that, as they know, none of them are here to win the grand prize (which shocks the other players). Their objective is to act as a coach to three players and get one of them to the end. The player who reaches the end will win $500 000 while the coach who has the winning player will win $250 000 plus $50 000 for every player of theirs in the Final 4. Everybody, including the veterans are shocked and excited. Sofia then says that the only problem is that there are six veterans and 12 players. In order for each coach to have three players, two coaches will have to go. A competition tomorrow will determine which veteran stays and which goes before the game really begins.

After that, Felicia suggests they all sit down and get to know each-other more. She starts off by saying that she is a mother of three and has been married to her husband, Michael, for 28 years!
Nicole says that she is a massage therapist. She was born in Etherset and recently moved to Prasoria.
Richie says that he owns a couple businesses. He is also married (Raquel Pella-Burke) and, together, they have two daughters (Alexia and Angel).
Saffiro says that, right now, he is living in Giulo and he is a multimedia artist.
Rebekah says that she is a 34 year old property appraiser. She was adopted when she was five years old.
Sylas says that he is still a firefighter from Cadwell. He says that he is now 42 as of recently! He is still married to his beloved wife, Chanel Toza, and he has three kids of his own.
Marcilo says that he is a financial accountant from Valomao, Navocalco. Since Season 5, he has gotten married (Ben Armatto)! Letizia says that she is an acupuncturist from Chiovona. She also loves to party and have a good time.
Veronika says that she is a sales clerk (lying to avoid saying she is a pharmacologist) from Kataveza. She also has a ten year old son named Santiago.
Maio says that he is a sous chef from Battirgamo. He is also recently engaged to his boyfriend of five years (David Espinaro).
Calista says that she is an architect from Riogoza. She is still happily married to her husband of 11 years (Dom Brunov)!
Callen lies to avoid saying that he is a chemist and says that he is a graphic designer.
Jamie lies to avoid saying that he is a seismic engineer and says that he is an aspiring musician.
Manuela says that she is a model from Castiviedo. She also loves to party every night!
Jaxen says that he is a snarky mechanic from Guiland. He loves to joke around but he also knows when to take things seriously.
Nadia says that she is a programmer from Esperansia.

Later, Nadia talks to Manuela, Jamie and Maio about making an alliance to never go after each-other. She says that no matter what team they are on, they need to stick together! The others agree. Nicole and Richie are in the living room. Richie says that his kids know more about this game than he does. When Nicole asks how old his kids are, Richie says that Alexia is 14 and Angel is 11. He says that they adore this game like crazy and showed it to him so they watched three whole seasons together and one of them was All-Stars. Nicole says that she is stoked to finally be here but she is worried as hell now. Richie tells her to stay calm and enjoy the ride. Elsewhere, Saffiro, Letizia and Veronika are in the parlour room. Veronika talks about having Santiago when she was 20. Her boyfriend at the time wanted her pregnant back in Grade 12 but they waited a few more years. Letizia says that all she sees is red flags with that guy. Veronika agrees and says that they broke up eight years ago and, for the most part, she has been a single mother. In one of the bedrooms, Jaxen, Nadia and Rebekah are all joking around. Rebekah talks about how excited she is to be here and they all discuss the coach twist.

Episode 2 It is now Day 2. Every veteran is super nervous. Marcilo talks to Felicia about how he is super worried about going home after waiting four years to return. He asks how she is feeling. Felicia says that she was asked to come back so many times and turned them down so coming back now and going home would be her fault for not accepting the offer earlier. Marcilo asks why she kept turning down the offers to return. Felicia says that she played twice already and felt like she was good with just playing those two times. She didn't know what she was getting into in Season 1 but loved the experience. When she was asked to come back for the first celebrity season, she jumped on the opportunity and played her hardest. After that, she was satisfied. Marcilo admits to being a really big fan of hers and wanted to play the kind of game she did in Celebrity 1. Felicia says that Marcilo, in Season 5, made the best alliance in the game's history. If anything, she is a fan of him. Elsewhere, Alicia and Sylas are in one of the bedrooms. Alicia says that she is in the game with the guy who orchestrated her exit in Season 5. Sylas says that Marcilo masterfully led that alliance to victory and says that he will be a tough person to beat. Nelo comes in and says that Felicia and Marcilo are talking together and he sees them as the most dangerous vets here out of all of them. Alicia and Sylas agree. Calista and Felicia talk. Calista says that so much has happened to the both of them since their were last on. Felicia agrees. Calista says that she has started a lifestyle brand and found more peace in her life. Felicia says that she has been acting! Calista then asks if she is scared of any vets in here. Felicia chuckles and says that she isn't. She isn't too confidant but she knows how to adapt. Nelo is talking with Jaxen, who says that he was a huge fan of him last season and wanted him to win. Nelo thanks him. Jaxen says that he would love to be on his team. Nelo says that he will pick him for sure since he seems like a fun guy. In one of the bedrooms, Manuela, Nadia, Rebekah and Veronika talk about making a Final 4 all-girls alliance. They discuss their shared interest in music and art and they don't see why they wouldn't be the best alliance in the house since they would be super sneaky about it. They call themselves "The Best Friends Gang" or "BFG" for short.

The competition commences! Calista and Nelo are eliminated.

In the living room, the remaining veterans, Alicia, Felicia, Marcilo and Sylas must now take turns and choose their team. In the end, Alicia's team is Jaxen, Nadia and Richie, Felicia's team is Callen, Jamie and Nicole, Marcilo's team is Letizia, Maio and Saffiro, and Sylas' team is Veronika, Manuela and Rebekah.

Sofia Venoa tells everybody that there is one more twist that she will reveal tonight: there are two pairs in the house that know each-other on the outside.

Episode 3 In the parlour room, Marcilo tells Letizia, Maio and Saffiro that the best thing they could do right now is focus on socializing. He says that being best buddies with everybody will work in their favour but as long as they don't overdo it. In the bedroom, Felicia tells Callen, Jamie and Nicole that, if they are ever in a bind, they need to figure out how to make the others believe that you leaving is detrimental to their game. She says that this was her best weapon in Celebrity 1. In the living room, Richie and Nicole discuss the upcoming HOH competition. Richie says that he doesn't want to win it. Nicole says that she would rather lay low for awhile than do something so reckless like win the first HOH. They head to one of the bedrooms where nobody is and discuss a Final 2 deal among them. "The Best Friends Gang"/"BFG" (Veronika, Manuela, Nadia and Rebekah) all meet up. They discuss that, despite the teams, they still want to be the Final 4.

As the HOH Competition is set to begin, Sofia Venoa tells everybody that, due to their teams, the whole team is immune if somebody from that team wins the HOH. Letizia wins HOH.

In the kitchen, Letizia is very stoked that she won the first HOH. Later, Sylas talks to Manuela, Veronika and Letizia and says that he chose them specifically because they all got along really well the first couple days. He feels like a great team's biggest strength is the ability to work together. They all agree. In the parlour room, Alicia and Marcilo discuss things. Alicia says that two pairs knowing each-other outside of the house couldn't just be the vets. Marcilo says that they have all spoken to some degree since being on the show so he thinks it has to be the others. Alicia says that it could be Nicole and Maio. Marcilo says that he will watch them and get back to her on that. In the kitchen, Rebekah is talking to Nicole about being adopted and not knowing her birth parents until recently. She says that she doesn't see her birth parents as family, though. Letizia comes out of the Diary Room and everybody goes to the HOH room! Later, Letizia and Jaxen talk. Letizia says that she will not put him up this week if he promises to do the same when he wins HOH. He agrees to that. After he leaves, Marcilo comes in. Letizia says that she wants to take advantage of the first HOH and secure her future in this game. She says that, when the second HOH happens, you know everybody already so coming up with reasons to put people up is a lot more difficult. Marcilo agrees and asks who she wants up. Letizia says that she is debating Callen and Veronika. She says that she gets this strategic vibe from Callen and a super social vibe from Veronika, plus they have yet to talk to her. Veronika goes into the HOH room and talks to Letizia. She says that they have gotten along since the beginning of the game and she hopes to continue working with her throughout it. Letizia is very open to that and offers her a Final 2. They call themselves "The Final 2". In the living room, Manuela and Nadia are laughing and joking around. Manuela suggests that, since they live near each-other, they should hang out after the game. Maio overhears this and goes to the HOH room. He tells Letizia that Manuela and Nadia live close to each-other and they are talking about hanging out after the game. Letizia says that it could be a coincidence but it is the best one they have.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Letizia puts up Manuela and Nadia.

Episode 4 Manuela and Nadia are confused and Nadia argues that they don't know eachother outside of the game. She then rages at Maio over telling Letizia but Jaxen is so confused how Maio told Letizia anything unless it is true. Nadia argues that Maio passed by them as they talked about hanging out and then, four hours later, they are on the block. Nicole feels like Nadia is being paranoid. Sylas is in the parlour room with Manuela. She says that Maio needs to go next week for ratting them out. Sylas says that what they said must really be true then but he won't say anything about it. "The Best Friends Gang"/"BFG" (Veronika, Manuela, Nadia and Rebekah) all meet up. Manuela is really upset that she is up and says that it is unfair to her. Nadia and Rebekah are super annoyed at Maio. Veronika then asks if Manuela and Nadia know each-other outside of the game but then Nadia and Rebekah team up on her and Veronika leaves the room. Veronika is visibly upset as she heads to the parlour room. Sylas joins her and Veronika talks about an alliance that was made before the teams were made called "The Best Friends Gang" with Manuela, Nadia and Rebekah. Sylas says that two of the alliance members are up on the block now. Veronika also says that she asked Manuela and Nadia if they knew eachother and Nadia and Rebekah went apeshit on her. Sylas is annoyed and decides to head to one of the bedrooms where he confronts Nadia and Rebekah about what just happened. The two of them very much yell at Sylas, who then gets really angry and yells back at them. He leaves the room. In the HOH room, Sylas talks to Marcilo and Felicia alone. He tells them that he chose poorly. Manuela has only been social to Nadia and Rebekah has no respect for Veronika or him. Later, Maio talks to Nicole, Veronika and Jaxen about how he came out to his parents and met his fiance, David Espinaro. Alone, Nadia feels like, if things stay the same, she will go over Manuela. She approaches Veronika and, in the parlour room, she apologizes. She got super defensive and how she acted was wrong. The two of them hug it out. Veronika says that BFG is a sinking ship right now. Nadia agrees and says that she screwed herself over by hanging out with Manuela too much without socializing with other people. She says that she plans to separate herself from Manuela from now on and see if that helps her.

Richie wins VETO.

After the competition, Richie and Nicole sit in the parlour room. Nicole says that there has been something on her mind since this is an unusual season. She says that there is always a chance that the vets could play for real. Richie says that, if that happens, they are screwed. In one of the bedrooms, Alicia tells Jaxen, Nadia and Richie that whatever drama is going on needs to stop if they want to get far in the game. Going under the radar and staying good with others may be boring but this is not a regular season. When Jaxen and Nadia leaves, Richie asks Alicia if she thinks that the coach twist will stay forever. Alicia says that she isn't sure but it is a neat twist. Nadia talks to Richie and says that she will be super loyal to him. Richie says that they are on the same team so he doesn't see why she wouldn't be. Nadia says that, if she is taken off, she is no longer in any danger. Richie says that he will think about it. With Alicia, she advises him to save Nadia as they don't want to risk one of their teammates going home. Richie says that Manuela and Nadia only hang out with each-other so making sure Nadia isn't the vote to keep Manuela is top priority to him.

At the Veto Ceremony, Richie does not use the VETO.

Episode 5 After the Veto Ceremony, Callen and Jamie head to the bedroom where they discuss what to do. Jamie says that Manuela is not social with anybody but Nadia while, at least, Nadia has been a lot better with talking to other people. Callen says that Sylas is livid that she isn't doing anything. In the parlour room, Sylas tells Manuela that she is a dead woman walking if she doesn't do anything right now. He says that, as it stands, the house has already decided that she is going. When she asks why, he says that she has isolated herself and only talks to Nadia and, at times, Rebekah and Veronika. Manuela says that she will do what she can. She approaches Veronika and says that, unlike Nadia, she never yelled at her. While BFG is dead, they can still work together. Veronika says that she will think about it. Manuela is confused and says that she never yelled at her while Nadia went apeshit on her. Veronika says that Nadia apologized and they are good now. Nicole and Richie get Callen, Veronika, Maio, Nadia, Rebekah and Saffiro into one of the bedrooms. Richie starts off by saying that there is a huge chance the vets could play for real. Nicole says that, if they do, they all need to band together and go after them. At that moment, Sylas enters the room and asks what is going on. When nobody says anything, he leaves and goes outside where Alicia, Letizia, Jamie and Marcilo are. He tells them that Callen, Veronika, Maio, Nadia, Nicole, Rebekah, Richie and Saffiro are all together in one of the bedrooms. Alicia then gets up and heads to the bedroom. While Richie is telling them that Sylas needs to go first since he barged in, Alicia puts her ear to the door. Both Nicole and Richie say that the vets need to go and Alicia leaves. As Marcilo comes to investigate, she pulls him aside and tells him about a bunch of people are in the bedroom and Nicole and Richie are trying to convince them that the vets need to go when they are just coaches. Marcilo feels like Nicole and Richie are becoming bigger threats. After the meeting, Sylas asks Maio and Saffiro to join him in the parlour room. Saffiro opens up that Nicole and Richie are convinced that the vets are going to return to the game and, if they do, they need to be taken out. Manuela comes in and Sylas asks Maio and Saffiro if they would vote for her to stay. The two of them are unsure. Manuela says that she is a super loyal person. Marcilo and Alicia are in the kitchen. They whisper about how Nadia was in that meeting while Manuela was not. They both consider trying to get Nadia out.

At the Eviction Ceremony, Manuela is evicted by a vote of 7-2.

Week 2 Episode 6 Saffiro wins HOH.

In the HOH room, Marcilo and Saffiro discuss nominations. Saffiro says that he wants to do something to appease one of the vets since they will have control when one of their teammates win HOH. He says that the Blue Team can't win forever. Marcilo agrees and says that Nicole and Richie have made themselves huge targets by going after the vets with a conspiracy theory. Since they will go after Sylas, that means that Veronika and Rebekah will be targeted next. Marcilo suggests making a deal with Sylas for safety next week. Later, Marcilo and his team as well as Sylas and his team discuss nominations. Marcilo opens up by offering a deal. Since it is common knowledge that Nicole and Richie want Sylas and his crew out, they can take care of one of them this week and then from this point forward, they can work together. They all shake hands and leave. Sylas whispers to Veronika and Rebekah that, next week, they avenge Manuela and target Marcilo's team anyway.

To the audience, it is revealed that the first pair that know eachother on the outside is Callen and Jamie! There is a montage of Callen and Jamie cuddling in the bed and kissing when nobody is around. In the DR, they both mention that they have been dating for five years. In the parlour room, Callen and Jamie discuss using the money to help out their respective parents. Callen then clarifies that he won't spend anything on his birth parents though. The other pair is Veronika and Nicole, who are cousins!

At the Nomination Ceremony, Saffiro puts up Nicole and Richie.

Episode 7 Jamie wins VETO.

At the Veto Ceremony, Jamie does not use the VETO.

Episode 8 At the Eviction Ceremony, Richie is evicted by a vote of 5-2.
Week 3 Episode 9 Nadia wins HOH.

In the HOH room, Nadia tells everybody that she doesn't want people bugging her about who to put up as she knows who she wants out already. She tells them all to leave, to their confusion. Alicia, however, refuses to leave and demands to talk with her. Alicia says that they already lost Richie and, by doing this, Nadia may go next week. She says that she has said, time and time again, that keeping your social game up is super important. Nadia says that she is playing her own game. Alicia then argues that, actually, they are a team. She stresses that the only person in the entire team to take any of her advice to heart is Jaxen. She storms out. In the backyard, Veronika and Saffiro are laughing and joking around. Veronika then talks about wanting to raise Santiago right and says that she is doing her best. Saffiro compliments her on being a good mother.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Nadia puts up Veronika and Rebekah.

Episode 10 Veronika and Rebekah are livid with Nadia!

Letizia wins VETO.

In the parlour room, Veronika and Saffiro discuss being good friends on the outside since they get along so well.

At the Veto Ceremony, Letizia does not use the VETO.

Episode 11 In one of the bedrooms, they are sitting on the bedroom when Saffiro opens up about how he feels about her. They then cuddle!

At the Eviction Ceremony ... Sofia Venoa tells everybody that the viewers have been voting since last week and they have decided to give the vets and opportunity to play the game for real!!! All they have to do is head into the Diary Room and push a button. If two vets push it, all vets will become players and the coaches twist is no more! She says that she wants Saffiro gone for taking Richie out. On the other hand, she wants Marcilo gone for potentially orchestrating that eviction. Elsewhere, Maio tells Saffiro that he is in trouble. He says that Nicole is gungho about taking all of Blue Team out thanks to Richie going. Saffiro says that he is not surprised as Blue Team won the first two HOHs so he expects all of them to be targeted. At the Nomination Ceremony, Nicole puts up Letizia and Saffiro.

Episode 13 After the Nomination Ceremony, Letizia is openly confused as to why she is up. Nicole tells her that the vote was 5-3 and she voted Richie out. Letizia asks if she wants to ruin her game for a married man she only knew for 2 weeks. She tells her to play for herself, not Richie. Alone, Saffiro and Veronika discuss their feelings for each-other and wanting to persevere.

Marcilo wins VETO.

At the Veto Ceremony, Marcilo uses the VETO on Letizia. Nicole puts up SYLAS.

Episode 14 At the Eviction Ceremony, Saffiro is evicted by a vote of 5-2.
Week 5 Episode 15 Callen wins HOH.

(Callen feels like Nadia and Rebekah could coast on by so he wants them out. He feels like Nadia is the bigger threat of the two due to how poorly she handled her HOH. She feels like all of Green Team would happily send her out and it'll get him favours with the house.) At the Nomination Ceremony, Callen puts up Nadia and Rebekah.

Episode 16 (Veronika really begins strategizing after focusing four weeks on being social. She makes an alliance with everybody in the house and plants seeds about Alicia who she views as her biggest threat right now.)Jamie wins VETO.

At the Veto Ceremony, Jamie chooses not to use the VETO.

Episode 17 At the Eviction Ceremony, Nadia is evicted by a vote of 5-2.

Letizia wins HOH.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Letizia puts up Jamie and Nicole.

Marcilo wins VETO.

At the Veto Ceremony, Nicole uses the VETO on herself and Letizia puts up Rebekah, her rival.

At the Eviction Ceremony, Jamie, feeling like he is going, gets on one knee and proposes to Callen, saying that he was hoping to propose when they got to Final 2 together. Callen says yes!
Rebekah is evicted by a vote of 5-2.

Week 6 Episode 18 Veronika and Nicole focus on getting support to send one of the vets out.

Episode 20 Felicia is evicted.
Week 7 Episode 21 Marcilo makes people believe that he is after Nicole and Veronika but his true target is Jaxen due to him being the biggest social threat in the game aside from Alicia, who he is working with.
Episode 22
Episode 23 Jaxen is evicted.
Week 8 Episode 24 Callen and Jamie are targeted due to them being a couple on the outside.
Episode 25
Episode 26 Jamie is evicted.
Week 9 Episode 27 Letizia and Maio are targeted by Marcilo due to them conspiring to get him out the past couple of weeks.
Episode 28
Episode 29 Callen proposes an alliance to Veronika and Nicole.
Letizia is evicted.
Week 10 Episode 30 Veronika's main target is Marcilo.
Episode 31 Suspecting the VETO may be used, Veronika's Plan B is Alicia. Her goal is for another vet to go.
Episode 32 Alicia is evicted.
Week 11 Episode 33 After Callen wins HOH, he targets Veronika and Nicole, saying that he plans to avenge his fiance.
