The Blackhelm Confederate National Corrections Bureau is a law enforcement agency within the Blackhelm Confederacy that operates Blackhelm Confederate national prisons and is responsible for the care, custody, and control of national prisoners. The BCNCB is one of the largest employers in the nation outside of the military, employing roughly one million people as guards, administrators, healthcare workers, counselors, support staff, etc.

History

The BCNCB traces its origins back to the Imperial Prison Service, which was created to oversee Imperial prisons throughout Hesperidesia as part of the Imperial Exponential Prison Reforms, which occurred after the Albandaean Crisis in 1896.

The modern BCNB was established in 1997, shortly after the foundation of the Blackhelm Confederacy under Lucius Blackhelm.
