Blessings to the purity of the nation (Kabwe: "Sikelele kweNgenalutho isiBoloke we") currently serves as the national anthem of Kitwe. It sings about the bountiful nature of the country and the unity between it's people. The song has been written in 1983 and proposed to be the national anthem of Kitwe in 1991. It has won the place to be the official national anthem in the senate vote.

First stanza

Izulu livikela umhlaba wethu iKitwe.
nendawo engaphansi komhlaba kuyona.
Uhlobo olunokuphana olunikezwe eNkosi
Ilanga elikhanyayo elinomusa.

The heaven protects our land Kitwe.
and the underworld is it's stand.
The bountiful nature granted by god,
to it the gracious bright sun of good light.

Second stanza

Ilizwe elingenamafu ngaphezulu,
ngoku ivukile, iyalelwe sisibambiso saBantu.
Imida ijikelezwe yimilambo emide,
Yenziwe ngamanzi aqabulayo abonisa iLanga.

The country without clouds above,
now arises, ordered by the pledge of it's people.
The borders are guarded by long rivers,
made of sparkling water reflecting the sun.

Third stanza

Kugadz'ikana kwerunyararo nekubatana,
yakakz'irwa kumus'oro nevan'hu ose vemarudzi.
Dend'eredzwa yakate'ndeka yedz'inza redu,
ichagetedzwaese kusvikira rudzi akare.

The cradle of peace and unity,
held high by people of all races and kinds.
The faithful circle of our ancestral cause,
shall be preserved throughout far generations.
