The Bombardment of Salorka by the Earl of Greybach's Imperial Prodavan Squadron took place from 14th February to 1st March 1888. The bombardment, a response to Essyrian provocation and naval cooperation with the Prodavan Sultanate, reduced the harbour district of Salorka to ruins and resulted in the end of Essyrian military provocations. A Prodavan fleet under Faisan al-Akman-Ebidi sailed to break the bombardment and blockade of the city but did not arrive in time, instead intercepting the Imperial fleet at the Battle off Adienea.
