In Room Amenities
Kitchen Facilities
- Refrigerator
- All rooms are equipped with with a refrigerator. The size of the refrigerator depends on the class of room that the guest rents. Class 1 and Class 2 rooms have a mini refrigerator. Class 3 rooms have a half refrigerator, Class 4 and Class 5 rooms are equipped with a Full Size refrigerator. Ice can be obtained from dispensers near the elevators on each floor.
- Microwave
- All guest rooms, regardless of classification or location within the Hotel Complex, are equipped with our standard Microwave for the use of guests. These microwaves are of medium standard and have maintenance done on them once a week.
- Cook-Top
- Rooms designated as Level 3 and higher include a Cook-Top. Induction cook-tops stay cooler than other conventional cook-tops because only the cookware and its contents are heated when cooking; there are no traditional radiant heating elements. Induction cook-tops are much more energy efficient because they don't use traditional radiant heat and they heat food and liquids more quickly than traditional cook-tops.
- Flattop
- Rooms designated as Level 4 or higher include a Flattop Grill. These grills are electric, which are designed to better maintain their warmth. These grills are supplied for our guests so that they may prep their meals, be it burgers, omelettes, pancakes or more.
- Oven
- Rooms with our top designated of Level 5 include a fully functional Electric Oven. You can cook a small chicken within these rooms or any sort of casserole to be able to complete your meal.
- Cabinets
- All rooms, regardless of their designation, come with some cabinetry for storage of food products.
- Coffeemaker
- All guest rooms, regardless of classification or location within the Hotel Complex, are equipped with our standard Coffeemaker. These are cleaned by certified professionals once a week.

- Television
- All guest rooms have Televisions with access to over 700 channels from the Empire and abroad from the local cable supplier StraTV. The size of Televisions within the rooms depends on the aforementioned Level system. Level 1 and Level 2 rooms have 32 Inch Televisions. Level 3 rooms have 45 Inch Televisions. Level 4 rooms have 55 Inch Televisions. Level 5 rooms have 80 Inch Televisions. A consolidated Television Channel List is below.

- Internet Access
- Internet Access is provided by StraTV and their nationwide network of Fiber Optic wire. Each building of the complex has their own Fiber Optic Connection and every room is equipped with a Wireless Internet Node in the center of the room with a placard on the desk with the individual internet access code for that specific room. These designs of the Internet Access for the complex is to ensure that every guest as the fastest available internet speed. Changes in Internet Access will occure no later than June 31, 2024, when the entire facility will be upgraded to utilize CosmoCast Shazbotdom Internet Services.
- Telephone Services
- All local calls within the Capital of the Empire, Shaz City, are free of charge. Any long distance calls, still within the Empire, are billed at B$0.01 for the first minute and B$0.005 per minute for each additional minute. International Calls are billed at B$0.50 for the first minute and B$0.25 for each additional minute. There are no collect calls allowed from within the Hotel Complex. Operator services are available by dialing #001 from your room phone.
- Personal Items
- If you forget your personal care items, we have some available from Guest Services for a nominal fee. You can get in touch with Guest Services by calling the Front Desk.
- Hair Dryer
- Every room, regardless of it's Class, is equipped with a wall mounted Hair Dryer for use by our guests just outside of the Restrooms in the Vestibule.
- Towels
- All rooms include a full set of towels for use by guests. If more towels are needed, guests can call Guest Services by dialing the Front Desk. The Broomsides Complex uses RFID technology to help reduce theft and keep our prices low to save you, are guests, money.
Outside of Room Amenities
- Dining
- Various cuisine is available within the Hotel Complex. With 16 of the finest restaurants the Empire has to offer, Guests can find nearly everything they want to fill their appetite if they don't feel the need to venture out into the Capital City.
- Vending
- If guests find themselves hungry for food after the various Dining Options are closed at night, each floor of the hotel offers vending machines with more than 200 varieties of snacks and drinks for our guests consumption.
- Exercise
- Each building of the Hotel Complex offers a gym for use of our guests. With weight lifting to aerobic options, they are operated by Average Joes, one of the Empire's largest chains of Gyms.
- Recreation
- To better assist our guests with their positive experience, we have recently renovated our recreation area in the back of the complex to offer a better experience. With a variety of sporting courts to choose from, guests can play everything from Basketball to Hockey.
- Swimming Pool
- Also recently renovated, the pool complex has been expanded with 6 pools of various depths. Also in a separate building our water park complex includes it's own graphically designed large pool with more than 13 water activities spread throughout the building.

Administration Building
- The administration building is along the western edge of the property. It is here where the global operations of the complex occur. Guest check-in is done on the first floor of the building between the hours of 13:00 and 19:00 and Guest Check-out is done on the same floor between the hours of 08:00 and 11:00. Guest access to floors 2 through 7 is allowable only between the hours of 15:00 and 17:00 and only if there are major problems that the Hotel Staff cannot fix.

Bungalow Buildings
- The five Bungalow buildings are our best rentals on the property. A six story building large enough for your entire party, it offers all of the amenities our Complex has to offer. These are the deluxe of the deluxe here at Broomsides.

Recreation Buildings
- With more than forty-five courts of various sports, the recreation building is one of the largest facilities within the Empire. With everything from Basketball, Soccer, Baseball and Tennis to Badminton, Volley Ball and more, there is something for everyone. This building is open to the public for only two hours a day, between the hours of 12:00 and 14:00 while hotel guests have access from when the facility opens at 08:00 till it closes at 21:00.
Pool/Water Park Building
- The water park was designed by architect Fernando Alvarez and includes four covered water slides, two uncovered water slides, the 'lazy lagoon' pool that one can wade in using inner-tubes, and six pools and hot tubs. The water park building is opened to the general public with a B$5 fee per person for 4 hours of time. Hotel guests have unlimited time within the water park.
Conference Center
- The Broomsides Conference Center is located one block east of the Main Complex on its own Campus. With more than 50 Conference rooms of various sizes, it is an ideal spot to hold a small Corporate Meeting or a large conference with several thousand attendees. The largest room, Conference Room Alpha, is on the top floor of the building and holds roughly 700 attendees. Costs are determined on a case by case basis. Reserving space for a Conference or Corporate Meeting guarantees a discount on rooms within the Hotel. The smallest discount offered is as small as 5%, while the largest allowable by Imperial Law is 20% off of the price of each room.
