Burhanudin Peramal (2963-present) is the 13th Grand Priest of Tempor. It is suspected that he and Izz Murali overthrew the previous Grand Priest, Jejak Warisan, and abandoned him in a forest. He has only been Grand Priest for less than a year, but was the Second-in-Command from 2994 to 2999 under Warisan. Since taking power, he has reduced the levels of tyranny in the country, however he’s still highly tyrannical and authoritarian. Under his governance, the Temple Council has come to multiple disagreements and is split between loyalists to Warisan and loyalists to Peramal. He has further degraded any power of the king and is suspected to be involved with the king’s recent disappearance. He continues to attempt to consolidate power and has installed more special military force stations across the country, along with increased checkpoints and travel restrictions. He has also increased military presence along the Lionoll border, heightening tensions with the country.

After Warisan overthrew the Tempor government in 2994, he assembled his own Temple Council, selecting Peramal as his Second-in-Command. During Warisan’s rule, Peramal mainly focused on expanding the Temple Council’s power while also aiding in strategic operations, particularly in espionage. It is suspected that under Peramal’s direction, he set up an immense spy network across the region, including within Tempor. It is well known that Peramal shared the same views as Warisan and aided in Tempor’s genocide.

Peramal married Sulastri Sari in 2983 while attending the Miru Technological Institute, and shortly after, they had a daughter, Aarifa. After graduating in 2985, he began work as a premonisionist priest at the Miru Telar Temple, as well as occasionally doing strategist work for the Tempor Army as a contractor. He entered politics in 2988 and ran for the office of mayor of Miru, however he lost by a large margin to incumbent Wayan Yanti. He met Warisan during a visit to the Grand Temple of Tempor, and they immediately became close friends, as well as rivals. Maria Perak, then Grand Priest of Tempor, immediately hired Peramal for the position of director for the Temple’s premonition research department after he premonished an accidental death of a Temple councilmember, which occurred two days later. Peramal quit his old job and worked full time for the Grand Temple until 2994. During his work at the Temple, his daughter Aarifa began showing signs of immense premonisionist genius and was taught personally by Peramal. In 2994, Peramal was allegedly approached with an offer to become Second-in-Command for Warisan if he provided his skills and assistance in overthrowing the Temple Council. He agreed and greatly assisted in the removal of Maria Perak from power, and installment of Warisan as Grand Priest. After the government overthrow, Permal was installed as Second-in-Command, and Aarifa was chosen as a junior council advisor, the youngest in Tempor history at just 13 years old. Peramal then began working extensively in strategic operations, as well as expanding the Temple Council’s power, being a key player in the Lionoll and Gola border skirmishes. He increased espionage activity exponentially. It is reported that Warisan and Peramal began having major disagreements starting in 2995 that led some to speculate one would remove the other from power. This was shown to be very likely in the 2999 disappearance of Warisan. It is highly suspected that Peramal, along with the Director of the Military, Izz Murali, overthrew Warisan. Peramal immediately declared himself the Grand Priest of Tempor, and installed his now 18 year old daughter Aarifa as Second-in-Command. A few Temple councilmembers seem to disagree with Peramal’s declaration, including Musawwir Rashid, who has seemingly vanished in December 2999. Peramal appears to be attempting to establish himself as the sole member of government with any power, however he is at risk of causing the complete collapse of the Temporan government.
