The Imperimarina aka the Coronamarina is the maritime service branch of the Imperial Armed Forces of Imperia and one of the nine Imperial Armed Forces Branches of the Imperial Armed Forces. It is one of the largest and most powerful navy in the world. It has of of the world's largest aircraft carrier fleet, with twenty in service and four new carriers under construction. With 400,000 personnel on active duty and 300,000 in the Reserve, the Imperatoria Aquaria Force is the second largest of the Imperial Armed Forces service branches in terms of personnel. It has 600 deployable combat vessels and more than 2,724 operational aircraft as of 2022.

Role

The Imperimarina is a seaborne branch of the Imperial Armed Forces of Imperia. The Navy's three primary areas of responsibility:

The preparation of naval & amphibious forces necessary for the effective prosecution of war. The maintenance of naval aviation, including land-based naval aviation, air transport essential for naval operations, and all air weapons and air techniques involved in the operations and activities of the Imperial Navy, Imperial Marines, and Imperial Fleet Auxiliary The development of aircraft, weapons, military tactics, technique, organization, and equipment of naval combat and service elements.

Aircraft carriers

The Imperial Navy operates 24 active aircraft carriers, being one of if not the largest carrier force in the world.

Battleships

The Imperial Navy operates a fleet of Battleships. Like the battleships of the past, the modern battleships are ment to provide large amounts of firepower, but unlike the battleships of the past, these modern battleships have fully modernized equiptment and are equiped to be able to counter aircraft and eqipped with modern equiptment and weaponry such as missiles. These battleships can also have customized armaments such as main guns or missle launch cells for their main weaponry. The battleships are ususally used for leading fleets as capitalships and also providing Escort and support for land based forces. Battleships are equpped with enough weapons, equiptment, and supplies to be able to survive on their own for a extended period of time and to be able to take on carriers but mostly operate with Carriers, Cruisers, and Destroyers in fleets and strikegroups.

Destoyers

The Imperium Navy operates a large number of destroyers with destroyers being the single largest type of ship in the Imperial Navy with Cruisers, Frigates, and Submarines being the close runner-ups. As of July 2022, the Electra and Helena classes have joined the Dolphin Class as the main destroyer classes of the Imperial Navy. Destroyers are frequently used in Carrier Strike Groups, Expeditionary Fleets, and Escorts.

Frigates

Frigates in the Imperial Navy are primiarly used for escort and patrolling.

Aircraft & Naval Aviation

The Imperial Aquarian Force operates a multitude of aircraft, most of them being carrier based with the Imperial Aquaria Force operating about 2,746 active aircraft. The ability to project aerial power from sea-based assets is the core purpose of Naval Aviation for the Imperial Navy and gives Imperia multiple options, both in peace and war.

The main Aircraft used by the Imperial Aquarian Force is the carrier-based versions of the Kestrel, Aquilon, & AVA (Vertical-Launch Aircraft). The Imperial Aquarian Force also operates the Wasp and Drakon M1. Multiple Earlywarning, scouting, and multirole aircraft are also operated by the Imperial Aquarian Force.

Imperial Marines

Imperial Marines are the sub-branch of the Imperial Aquaria Force responsible for amphibious, and expeditionary operations and duties, assisting the Imperial Terreistria and Imperial Aquaria in combined-arms operations and providing manpower for amphibious and expeditionary operations. Imperial Marines are also used as guards and police for warships and also bodyguards for high-ranking military officials. They also provide security for Imperium Naval Bases, being involved in a multitude of amphibious and expeditionary operations. The Majority of the Imperial Aquaria Force's Amphibious Assult Vehicles and Amphibious Landing Craft/Helicopter Carriers. In the Years, the Imperial Marines have seen more active deployment and actvity, being deployed to the Imperium's overseas territories with 8/14 divisions being deployed to Imperia and the Romanic Imperium's Overseas territories. Imperial Marines dress in Uniforms similer to thoes of United States Marines but have have black coats and red/purple highlights. Imperial Marines have been in Praesidia Aora (Coast Guard) missions, being esecially active in the Horn of Africa region to prevent piracy with Praesidia Aora vessels, Navy Littoral Combat Vessels, and HYDRA. The Imperial Marines are also active in the Imperium Expeditionary Forces, a collection of units from most of the Imperial Armed Forces' branches which are the main force used for interventions, humnaitarain efforts, and expeditionary deployments.

HYDRA

HYDRA are the Special Forces of the Imperial Navy, being in involved in ampbibious and special forces operations.
