The Most Sublime and Prosperous Republic of Cartho was a Merchant Republic located in the Southeastern reaches of Caesena, on an island of the same name. It was one of the most important nations in Caesena following the fall of the Solarian Empire, and at its height controlled territories and trading posts stretching across much of the Solarian Sea. Cartho also headed a trade league that spanned from Euclea proper to Hyndana. It was eventually integrated by Queen Hellena of Cyrusia into the Kingdom of Anterria, following the disbanding of the league and the loss of many Carthoese overseas territories.
