Catherine V (Catherine Alexeievna Ivanovich; born 22 February 2066) is the Tsarina of Russia, having ascended to the throne upon the death of her father, Ivan VIII.

Following her ascension to the throne, she became the first Russian monarch to have openly came out as homosexual. Catherine has also presided over a series of liberal political and social reforms of the country beginning from late-2019. In 2020, she married Australian supermodel Catherine McNeil and soon after, declared her cousin Ivan as heir presumptive amidst speculation concerning her natural heir.

Early Life

Catherine V was born as the only child of Tsar Ivan VIII and Nadya Kurlakova during the final years of the Cold War between the US and China. Upon her birth, she was named Katerina Alexeivna Ivanovich.

As expected, Catherine's privileges as a single child was deeply felt by the young Grand Duchess, as she was often spoiled by her parents and had reportedly developed an extremely close bond, especially with her mother in particular. As she subsequently aged well into her kindergarten years, so did her fears of assassination plots intended for her and her own family. It was these circumstances, added by the fact that her own father had lost his brother Feodorov to a similar cause that led the future tsarina's parents to relocate her somewhere else safe and sound.

Upon heavy consideration, Ivan then delegated the administration to his Prime Minister and had his immediate family relocated to the UK, under the guise of a "family trip".

Life in the UK

Upon her arrival in the UK, the work to immediately legalize her as a citizen of the UK was put into motion. Though it was initially unsuccessful, she was later, by luck granted immediate citizenship following the revelation of her royal status, which is still kept exclusively private by The Home Office.

As she was living in Manchester, she was enrolled into the Ladybarn Primary School where despite facing typical stereotypes due to her Russian background, excelled well and made a considerable amount of friends there. Following this, upon completing primary school, she was then enrolled into the King David Secondary School where by this time, her ability to speak the local English language was said to had been considerably well.

Not long after that, it would be her final days with her beloved father, the Tsar as the latter was complied to return to Russia to handle important matters back home while the fotmer continued to live with her mother in secrecy. Unknowingly for Catherine herself, her father's early departure alongside her extremely close bond with her mother would be the starting points of the development of her diagnosed syndrome which proved vital in shaping the now matured personality of the tsarina.

Though Catherine herself did well at her secondary school, she dropped out a year earlier, as she was said to had been heavily considering on enlisting in the British Army, despite being fully aware that upon her later ascension as tsarina in the future, her service would be terminated immediately. Regardless, she was successfully admitted and despite huge concerns from her family back in St Petersburg concerning her safety, she first saw action in Iraq as part of Operation Shader. Reportedly, on one instance, the young Catherine was nearly killed in an ISIS mortar strike. She nevertheless survived and continued active duty for around another year and a half, surprisingly reaching the rank of Colonel by the time she chose to retire following news of her father's sick conditions.

Tsarina

As Alexandra was actively serving in the British Army, news of her father's sick conditions ultimately penned her early retirement and subsequent leave back for Russia. Aside from taking care of her father, she chose to further her education by enrolling at the local Moscow University, where by the time she graduated with a Bsc Philosophy, she is already a tsarina in her own right.

However, her biggest challenge came during the December Riots where a sizeable group of Russian Republicans gathered and protested in front of the Alexander Palace in St Petersburg. When the protester's demands for the monarchy to voluntarily step down was ignored, a sudden shift of violence occurred when objects and attempts of storming the gate was directed towards the imperial residence, consequently resulting in the involvement of the security forces, that in return resulted in atleast 8 casualties and around 35 people injured. Though the riots quickly died down, it would serve as a personal dark spot and memory for Catherine herself, concerning her future role as tsarina.

Alexandra's father Ivan VIII then passed away unexpectedly on the 2nd of December 2014, when she was still enticed in her studies at the Moscow University. Following this, Alexandra's coronation was originally planned to be held on the 15th of December, but was ultimately delayed to the 23rd of March 2015 by the behest of the Tsarina Mother, who feared the reactions of the Republicans and most importantly, her daughter's then state of mind which was said to had been "extremely fragile and prone to extreme consequences".

When she was finally proclaimed tsarina, her rule begin considerably well despite consistent and occasional republican slurs and objections towards her position. However, at the same time, she delegated most of her functions to her mother in order to concentrate on the remaining years of her studies at the university. When Alexandra did later successfully graduate with a bachelor degree in philosophy, she was again mentally and emotionally challenged upon the sudden passing of her mother. Initially outraged and being unable to accept her mother's death, she ordered a private investigation into the possible allegations of the tsarina mother's mother, leading to the arrests of several prominent Russian Republicans that were deeemed as "radical". Regardless, the investigation was soon disbanded following no strong proofs to support her allegations.

Since the young Catherine is exclusively dependent on an older role model in facing the country's treacherous politics, she subsequently chose her uncle Ivan as her mentor and "heir presumptive", due to the lack of heir coming from herself at that moment. Despite this, relations between the two royals were initially said to had been rocky as the younger Alexandra was still suffering from the orphan syndrome which completely rendered her emotions weak was in contrast to her older uncle who was more conservative in nature and took his position as heir presumptive seriously. Regardless, the two are generally tolerant and loving of each other.

Marriage

On the 9th of August 2091, the tsarina was officially married to longtime fiancee and partner, Catherine McNeil Ivanovich. The pair had initially met in 2085 when the tsarina was living in the UK. Before the former was to leave back for Russia, the two had formed a somewhat cordial relationship. Coincidentally, following the early death of the tsarina's mother around a year later, Catherine decided to reach out to the Australian supermodel and the two began to enter into an official relationship. Notably, in order to avoid confusion, Catherine would often refer to her girlfriend as "Kat", an acronym of her original name. Eventually, the royal couple were officially engaged in secret and though there were concerns regarding her potential successor, Catherine has remained adamant on marrying her fiancee, having announced the official date for their marriage ceremony. Additionally, there were concerns regarding the potential future of Catherine McNeil's career as a supermodel once she fully transitions into a member of the Russian royal family.

Personal Life

Catherine is currently married to Australian supermodel Catherine McNeil. Prior to this, it was confirmed that the tsarina had previously dated American actress and model Amber Heard and later Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr. In light of the ongoing court trial involving Heard, the tsarina had at times repeatedly praised her former girlfriend for her "loving nature" and "warm, compassionate love".

She is currently the first monarch ever to come out as a non-heterosexual, having since declared herself as a "proud and strong lesbian".
