The City Defence Forces are a Gasarian paramilitary in Sashaslav, the capital and largest city of Gasaria. Originating from Gasarian resistance groups against the Second Federate Union during the Popular Uprisings, the force is the most relevant military establishment in the city today. As a private military company, it incorporated in 1972 as the City Defence Organization Ltd..
The CDF occupies the territory of Sashaslav Autonomous Zone, a local government defined by statute by the State Congress. The CDF supports the Sashashav Assembly. The Sashaslav Police Force is partly owned by the CDF.
