The Claire Payne Building, also known as the Payne Fine Arts Center or the Payne Cultural Center, is an art gallery and cultural center dedicated to promoting the culture and arts of the United States of Caprica. The centre includes cafes, commercial art galleries, bookshops, craft shops and an art library, as well as a number of investment and trade offices from several Caprican firms.

History

Completed in 2011, the Payne Building was meant to symbolize the friendship between the United States of Caprica and the Blackhelm Confederacy, as well as get Confederate citizens acquainted with Caprican society and culture. Since its opening, it has hosted numerous art galleries and symposiums, and has also served as a gathering place for many Caprican expats living in Paradise City.
