The Collapse of the Overseas Exponential Empire was a long process of degradation and instability within the Empire of Exponent, lasting from the 17th to the early 20th centuries. The period was marked by a series of debilitating plagues throughout Hesperidesia, which claimed the lives of millions of people and severely tapped Imperial resources and manpower following their prosperous golden ages during the fourteenth, fifteenth, and sixteenth centurties.
