The Community of German States (German: Gemeinschaft Deutscher Staaten) is the official body for formal inter-parliamentary Germanic cooperation among the German countries. Formed in 1952, it has 156 representatives Schleswig-Holstein, Hanover-Westphalia, Luxembourg, Rhineland, Hesse, Swabia, Pomerania, United German Provinces, Saxony, Bavaria, Liechtenstein, Austria, Silesia, Banat, and Southwest Africa.
