Dɔnkɛ officially the Dɔnkɛ People's Democratic Republic is a landlocked country in West Africa, within the Sahelian region. It borders Mauritania to the north and northwest, Algeria and Niger to the northeast, Senegal to the west and the Republic of Guinea and Burkina Faso to the south. It covers 1,240,192 square kilometres and its capital is Tiledugu.

Dɔnkɛ has a very rich story, that goes from the Mali Empire in the Middle Ages to the establishment of a socialist government in the 1970s.

Geography

Dɔnkɛ covers an area of 1,240,192 square kilometres, of which the most are covered by the Sahara desert in the northernmost part of the country, to savanna in the south and west.
