DEFCON: Echo (stylized as DEFCON ECHO) is an online tactical shooter video game developed and published by Populas. The game was released in Garetolia on April 25, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is the second of the DEFCON franchise.
The game is set in an open world environment on the island of Filan, where Special Operations Forces were sent to defend the island and the rest of Garetolia from the invasion of Kerolsima. The player takes on the role of Sergeant Major Peter "Par" Quinton, a Sergeant Major for the Garetolian Army.
Premise
Setting and characters
The game is set in the year 2036, ten years after the events in DEFCON. The story takes place in northern Filan, to which invading Kerolsimar forces have been isolated.
