The Democratic Army of Lyoa was a rebel army that initiated in the Lyoan Civil War in 1998. It was formed by Thomas Radinka, a dissident military commander opposed to Laurent Tulossa and his regime in Lyoa. The group was the main rebel force opposing Tulossa until 2000, when the Revolutionary United Forces overtook them. The group exists today as a political party, representing the main opposition to the ruling Revolutionary United Front party.
