The Department of Environmental Protection is a federal government department in the Caldan Union. It is responsible for enforcing Caldan and international law for regulating pollution (including methane, carbon dioxide, and other greenhouse gases), preserving biodiversity, and enhancing the natural environment. The minister is Pierre Fourtier. The deputy minister is Horace Smith.
